Hotel Reardon

Had a wonderful 2 day stay and enjoyed this Boutique Historical hotel in Clifton. The service was wonderful and personable. Room was clean and the king bed was very comfy. I love seeing the historic buildiing and sitting on the Hotels’s porch. A great getaway spot and a cute town to explore to see some historic sites and you may even see a bighorn sheep around the historic railroad station.

I came to Clifton to spend the weekend with family. I decided to try The Reardon. I’m sooooooo glad I did. From the booking phone call to arrival and everything in between, they are WONDERFUL!!!! Clean, comfortable rooms while maintaining that “another era” charm. I’ll stay here from now on!!!

The owners are amazing! The room is nice! They don't mind kids. They really are kid friendly. They make sure you have everything you need for your stay. Its clean. And the lobby is cool to we can go downstairs and read a book to our son or we can just hangout in the lobby.

My stay was unbelievable, the new owners really turned the place around. Great and friendly people, always willing to make your stay excellent. Longest running business in Clifton and the new owners are trying to keep it updated and antique at the same time. Would highly recommend staying there, and take advantage of learning some old history facts of Arizona as well.

I love hotels with a history and this certainly has one. Beautiful old photographs of its glory days, on the wall in the hallway. Small room, but I requested a room for one person. Price was a bargain. Owner not on premises but answered the phone and was helpful. Lack of info (such as wifi password) but caretaker assisted, and once I was connected, it was 5G! Overall this charming hotel was much as I expected and if you want old-world flavor, you won't be disappointed. The drive here from Safford was beautiful but consider taking the Black Hills Back Country Byway (signposted, marked on my book of maps).

We stayed here for one night yesterday (July 17). The hotel is in downtown Clifton which is old and quaint. The owner is a very friendly woman and they have done a great job in renovating this old hotel. The room was large, clean and had a rustic feel. The bathroom was modern and clean with a nice shower. We were very impressed with the cleanliness. The hotel business is hard now because of the pandemic but they have kept it up. There was smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway because (I imagine) someone was smoking in their room. I do not hold this against them because the room did not smell. They must have to make compromises to let people stay to keep this going. Overall, very nice experience. Recommended.

Clean. Neat. Spacious. Nice staff. Needs door stopper for bathroom, face and hand towels coffee maker [or at least one in the lobby]. Needs ability to turn off overhead fan without also having to turn off ceiling lamp. Wear and tear is obvious, but hotel is quaint. Prices are a very good value.

Made last minute reservations due to a sad family event. Hotel owner was friendly, welcoming and extremely accommodating. In a time of sadness and anxiety this was one less thing I needed to worry about. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was great! Superb location. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
